SPSProfessional Licenses

SPSProfessional uses a .lic text file. This license file, stored in the server c:\windows\system32 directory, is used for an installed product. Each product ‘checks’ this file at run time to determine which software components you are authorized to use.

All Licenses are release specific.

The types of license files that can be used and the technical restrictions that they impose are described in the following table.

Trial Licenses

Trial licenses are for a maximum of 60 days. Used in a development environment where a developer is preparing an application to run one of our solutions; a scale-limited or production license is required for deployment.

May restrict functionality to the software components.

Developer & Partner Licenses
